Aritz Aramburu (SHH) started building his own shifter for use in PC Racing simulation titles. He decided to develop a shifter that was simple, yet robust and most of all cost effective. Furthermore, the shifter should be easily convertible from H-Pattern to sequential mode. The interesting thing is that in order to make it easy to duplicate the original shifter design, Aritz  decided to produce a selection of parts and the housing using a 3D Printer. He printed the needed parts in a a very strong material called “Smart ABS”

The Shifter works completely independent of any steering wheel unit and there is no need to install system drivers. When plugged in a USB port, Windows will detect the SHH Shifter as a 10 button joystick. 9 of the button functions are used to drive the shifter. The 6-speed shift locations, reverse and up and down sequential mode.

SHH is selling the units for 65 Euros. Optionally, the customer can choose the colors and even brand the unit with a logo or text. The customer can also select from a range of different shifter knobs.
