It seems that the higher the FPS are, the faster you get. I've lowered my settings and used the input-lag fix from Martin here: http://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/in...input-lag.449/ and dialed down the settings so i achieve around 100fps in average on my i5-2500k, GTX 560Ti, 8GB Ram.

However, i sometimes had the feeling that i am slower than it feels like, sometimes even a whole second in the first split. As soon as i used the fix and updated the settings so i would get more FPS (had 70 before with higher settings) i got faster. Even with very bad first splits i was 0.3s at least faster from what i had before (with - what felt for me - agood S1).

My idea:

The stutters/spikes consume time, even though the car does not move, therefor any stutter, any lag, any framedrop causes the time to run on, but the car to slow down or behave incorrectly. So basically when you lack FPS, you will "magically" be too slow. When you run a constant high FPS you will be faster. Several people already reported this and i think it's reproducable.

Pretty much exactly the same story here.

At 60 FPS average I was running very consistent low 1.25's. Must have done 50 + laps at that frame rate.

Turned things down so i was getting around 75 FPS, instantly did a low 1.24 and could do them consistently.

Went to bare minimum settings, around 100 FPS and did low 1.23's.

Very much noticed here as well.

I initially started out getting 40fps (note; already many things disabled; shadows, hdr, etc) and running 1:25's for lap times. I disabled everything and was able to increase my frame rate to around 75-85fps and my first lap with the new settings was a 1:22.9. I then increased the settings back to what they were and was barely able to run 1:24's again, more than 1.5 seconds off the minimum settings lap. In my case it is safe to rule out the lack of practice as a result of the lap time differences. Before I lowered the graphics settings, I had run 80-100 laps and it was my very first lap on lower settings that was a 1:22.9.

Ja lažji je vozit če je slika bolj tekoča..a ni to logično Ko bo igra optimizirana se bo to izbolšal...če ne pa nov komp kupit da bo nad 100 fps

Ja med 60 in 75 načeloma niti ni kkšne velke razlike.. Sm sam kopiru

Se povsem strinjam. Če se slika zatika, itak nimaš občutka točno kaj delaš. To ni pomoje noben bug. To sem tudi sam sprobal, že mnogokrat (ker imam pač prešvoh komp).

Danes ponoč sem si vzel kar nekaj časa,da sem optimiziral prav vse stvari.Od tekoče grafike,pravilnega ffb ,spet 900° na volanu in igri,iskal "relni" head movement,nakar sem tudi po teh testiranjih prišel do zame solidnega časa 1 23 217.Zdaj bom še probal brez kaj več "packat"it pod 23, mislim tam do enih 1 22 800 naj bi bil moj perfekten cajt.

FOV lahko spreminjam kot nor, pa se mi ne spremeni čist nič pogled v igri..

Če imaš 3 monitorje ne gre.tako tot motion blur.imaš tam,med igro,pri aplikacijah za štelat FOV,kdor ma 3 monitorje.

Moraš spreminjat un fajl v my documents, če unga kamor je inštalirano se ne spreminja.
