Ja,to marsikaj pojasni :) Prav vidi se mu,da ga je vse skupaj pozitivno presenetilo,da lahko ima ena računalniška igra (simulacija) vse to kar dejansko občuti,ko se vozi po tej progi v RL. Je kdo naredil primerjavo med iR in AC verzijo te proge? Po mojem ni razlik? Edina razlika je po mojem v fiziki avtomobilov oz. dirkalnikov.

Evo uradno iz IR:

There is a potential bug that could be impacting the grip of cars on a sporadic basis is sessions. There is some good on-track evidence this is happening but so far we have not been able to see anything wrong behind the scenes or in the code. Technically it does not appear it could happen so it is somewhat baffling. We have been working hard to uncover it since we heard about it last week and we have some ideas that we are looking into immediately. We just wanted to let members know that all hands are on deck trying to figure out why it is happening and correct it. We apologize and we are working on a remedy and answers as quickly as possible. 


Amended/Added Piece: 


From what we can tell there is a connection between dynamic track and dynamic weather for this glitch/bug to occur. In fact the bug might need some combination of both or even just be on the weather side but needs dynamic track to show up. 

Anyway we have gone ahead and turned off dynamic weather for all the series (all session types) that have it for the week starting tonight with the start of the race week. It will be interesting to see if people can reproduce this now with the dynamic weather off. We have only turned it off for this week. We also did just turn it off for the last races in both WC series. 

In the meantime still searching.

Mogoče bi zadeva še šla skozi, če ne bi en session prej bil za njim 0,5 sek v qualy :roll:

 

No upam da čimprej popravijo tale bug, ker je kar malo nadležno.

Včeraj je prišel popravek za t.i. "super grip" bug oz. "weather bug". Race on !

Še zanimivost zakaj FFB pri IR deluje mrtev v primerjavi z AC (eden od razlogov):

Rumble strips are in there, if you look at the force feedback telemetry you will see them clearly, however they don't behave the way you would assume rumble strips should work. We only transmit rotational force to the wheel (because it only rotates...) so any vibrations you may feel that transmit up through the car frame and into the steering wheel are not reproduced by our force feedback. 

If you were to run over a rumble strip in real life, and really paid attention, you would find that all but the most extreme ones hardly rotate the wheel at all, even at speed. There is a really loud sound, and a mild amount of vibration that telegraphs through the car, but almost zero rotation. By the way if you do get inspired to play with your real car and a rumble strip, be careful. I don't want to see the headline: "sim racer dies in single car accident on freeway". 

Anyway, we stick to the rotational forces only approach to force feedback and rely on other tools, like sim vibe, to fill in the rest of the details.

Res je. S tem purističnim pristopom, kjer skozi volan modelirajo samo tisto kar se res čuti na volanu te silijo v nabavo motion rig. Sliši se kot dvorezen meč. Ne vem zakaj ni tu nekega kompromisa med realnostjo in tistim kar se da simulirat preko volana. Pri AC res zelo lepo modelirajo nekatere efekte (ki jih sicer na volanu ni, baje) preko superponiranja harmonikov na osnovne premike na volanu.

Me pa presenča, da se eden izmed glavnih pri IR, ki je zadolžen za FFB ni 100% poglobil v njihovo konkurenco in kako ta deluje in kakšen je odziv pri uporabikih. Očitno se počutijo zelo superiorne in nedotakljive.
